Wonderful
We stayed in December 11 days as a group of two adults and two teenage girls. Although we arrived late and drove past the accommodation a couple of times, we were relieved to find onsite help and a reception. Having an onsite reception was especially helpful, as we had an issue with the fridge during the weekend, which the host resolved quickly and efficiently. The apartment was clean and functional, well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay in Barbados. The large kitchen, stocked with plenty of utensils, allowed us to cook at home on a few nights. The bedrooms were comfortable and featured air conditioning, which was a must. There was also a large TV with plenty of channels for quiet nights in. We enjoyed having a small balcony, perfect for a morning cup of tea. The interior of the apartment had a very colonial style, which seems to be a common theme across the island, Although we had a hire car, the apartment is conveniently close to Oistins. This vibrant area offers local food vendors, bars, and even a KFC, for the kids if needed. Oistins’ Friday Fish Fry is a must-see, showcasing local food, music, and the community spirit as people celebrate the end of the working week. Miami Beach is a short walk from the apartment, accessible via a cut-through near the police station. The beach has a food bar, food vendors, and plenty of shaded areas if you’re not renting sunbeds. For families, the north side of the beach features a sheltered mini-beach, ideal for children. Take and a small torch as Pavements are not maintained and don't run to the apartment. Overall, the apartment was a great base for our Barbados adventure, combining comfort, convenience, and excellent service from the host. What 3 words Location if needed..(evolution.enjoyable.tasteful).
Ostins' road can be a little noisy.
